My WorkIn the past ten years I have been a Mosaic Artist in Montana. I follow a family tradition of love for the land and art excellence. Many artists in my family, as well as my father noted artist Elloitt Eaton, have nurtured, inspired, and guided my work to find my own medium. It gives me positive energy to incorporate a broken bit of something that was once beautiful, even treasured, into my art helping it to be reborn into a fun useful object. From broken bits -- to beauty! That's positively GREEN, and I love it. |
Approach
In my art I incorporate old windows and doors. I mostly use stained glass, but I also love using old horse shoes, old pots, old dishes, old drawer pulls and old door knobs. My end tables and benches are made out of juniper and pine. No piece of art can look the same, or be made again. I don't snip or clip my glass or tile, it is all made with the natural break. That is want makes it so unique and rare. I can work from a picture or an idea.
